OUR FAMILIAR GHOSTS

by Jeanne Crépeau
Expected 2026 – 80 minutes – France

It presents itself as a portrait of the city of Dieppe, France, based on magnificent black and white photos shot between 1969 and 1989 by the photographer Pierre Le Gall and commented on by today's Dieppois in voice-over. Then, when the stories begin to become hesitant, uncertain, even contradictory, it also resembles the creation of an imperfect but living popular collective memory, woven with contagious emotions and caustic humor.
