The company

Les Films de la pluie was created in 2014 by Sylvie Plunian, its producer and manager, with the ambition of producing author-directed documentary films for television and cinema, and a predilection for interregional and international co-productions. Throughout the films, Sylvie Plunian likes to produce portraits of women and men that allow us to tell the world around us through unique stories. She is also interested in autobiographical films which question identities, memories, familial heritages and gender positioning. The company is just celebrating its 10th anniversary, with seventeen films in its catalogue, co-produced by France Télévisions (France 3, France Ô, Nouvelle-Calédonie 1ère), Lyon Capitale TV, Tébéo, TVR and Tébésud, TV 78, TV5Monde, Ushuaïa TV, and the Tënk and KuB platforms.
