Karine Marsilly dedicates her life to the protection and saving of trees. She is one of the first women to have trained as an arborist and climber pruner 20 years ago. Karine is leading a gentle revolution through her particular approach. She prunes with Japanese saws, which avoids wounds that could be fatal to the tree which she considers to be a being in its own right. Today, more and more young people are coming to Karine for internships. She has become a source of inspiration for new generations.
In her company we will set off to meet the trees, between Normandy and Brittany, and we will follow the way in which Karine distills her love and her fight for the trees all around her, every day, tirelessly.
A film to make us aware of the importance of these living beings around us. In order to better respect them and awaken the tree that has been sleeping in us since time immemorial.
